1. Lakers lose to Clippers again as third quarter woes continue
The Lakers are now 2-9 after losing to the Clippers 114-101 on Wednesday. The Lakers have lost nine straight to their hallway rivals and The Sporting Tribune’s Rey Moralde is starting to wonder if there is a light at the end of this long dark tunnel of a season.
There’s not much else to say. The Lakers are 2-9. They’re a horrible team. There is no energy. There is no soul. And there’s not much that can be done other than to get better within. They’re tied up with their current roster but like I said before, I’m not here to talk about trade speculations and whatnot. As I was reminded, they were one shot away from being 1-10. Did I mention that LeBron is hurt and there’s a chance he could be out for an extended period?
2. Rams QB Matthew Stafford in concussion protocol
The Rams placed quarterback Matthew Stafford in concussion protocol Wednesday and there’s a chance he will be ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals at SoFi Stadium. More from The Sporting Tribune:
